What we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, town, and a description of your septic need. Our form provider (Formspree) processes the submission. Like most websites, our hosting provider also logs basic technical data (IP address, pages visited) for security and analytics.

How we use it

Quote request details are shared with licensed septic contractors who serve your area, so they can contact you with a quote. That is the entire purpose of the form and the only reason we share your information. We do not sell your information to data brokers, use it for unrelated marketing, or share it with anyone other than the contractors matched to your request.

Your choices

To have your submitted information deleted from our records, email hello@nysepticguide.com and we'll remove it. Contractors you were already connected with hold their own copy of what was forwarded; you can ask them directly to delete it.

Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not run advertising trackers.
